The Legend of Princess Snow White

The Legend of Princess Snow White or Shirayuki-hime no Densetsu is an anime series based on the European fairy tale. The series was based on the German version of the fairy tale "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" and was converted into a 52-episode TV series by the Tatsunoko animation studio in 1994 and aired in Japan on NHK. Tatsunoko's production incorporated several "prelude" episodes emphasizing the romance between Snow White and her prince before launching into the story in proper continuacion form.
