[edit] Synopsis
Following a poorly received gig, the boys decide to skip town for a bit. They take in a spot of fishing on Black Lake where angry at Vince's fishing success, Howard sends him back to the local pub. Whilst Vince swaps tales with the locals at the King Prawn's Head, Howard is abducted by 'Old Gregg', the eerie merman who haunts the lake's waters with 'The Funk'.
[edit] Plot
After a bad gig, Howard and Vince travel to a village in Scotland called Black Lake to take a break. At the pub, they get the idea of going fishing from a local fisherman called Ramsey. They go fishing in the middle of the night and Vince is rather successful, though he has never been fishing before. Howard gets annoyed with Vince and kicks Vince off the boat, leaving Howard to fish himself. Vince returns to the pub, where he learns about Old Gregg, a man-fish who haunts Black Lake every full moon. Howard then inadvertently catches Old Gregg, who shows him his mangina, and takes him to his underwater cave. Vince phones Naboo to help him rescue Howard, which Naboo and Bollo grudgingly agrees to do. Howard awakens, and Old Gregg confesses his love to Howard. Howard is not pleased, but Old Gregg threatens to kill Howard, and they end up singing "Do you love me?". While having a meal with Old Gregg, Howard learns of his possession of The Funk. Old Gregg said that if Howard marries him, he can have the funk and they can leave the cave and start a band together, so Howard agrees. While Old Gregg is preoccupied about picking out a wedding dress, Vince, Naboo, and Bollo arrive in a submarine and rescue Howard, who steals The Funk from Old Gregg. They use it to perform to the pub, singing a song about having the funk. They then leave, planning to bring the funk back to London. Unfortunately Old Gregg is shown on top of the van, exposing his mangina.
