[edit] Characters and their Columns
- Rebecca Harper: A happy, eager, girl, who sets her sights high and has lofty dreams, such as winning the Pulitzer Prize. Rebecca writes the Student Issues column. She is played by Zoë Belkin. Rebecca's column is 'In So Many Words'. Easygoing and bubbly, Rebecca has the heart of a journalist. One day she dreams of winning Pulitzers and breaking huge stories, but for now she's thrilled to expose the seedy underbelly of high school life.Rebecca has a crush on Noah. She was asked out by Noah in the episode, The Love-ly Issue (1) and agreed to go out with him in The Love-ly Issue (2). Before that, she went on a date with him once in The Dating Issue. Rebecca has also shared a kiss with Noah when he tries to get rid of her hiccups.
- Michael Davies : A quirky writer capable of reporting on big stories. Michael writes the Entertainment column. He is played by Demetrius Joyette. Michael's column is 'Names Dropping'. Michael is quirky and hip and always has so much to say about everything. Michael has his camera always with him, and is always trying to find out some hot celebrity news, so that he could publish any entertainment article on that celebrity. At school, Michael doesn't have many friends except his best friend, Rebecca. Michael has a crush on Amanda. He asked Amanda out in The Love-ly Issue (1) and she agreed to go out with him. (In The Love-ly Issue (2))
- Noah Jackson:A 14 year boy who frequently makes fun of others at their expense. At work and at school, Noah is considered the playful misfit, the kid you can't help but want to be around. The only difference is at work, his fellow writers can't afford to just dismiss him. Noah covers Music. He is played by Justin Kelly. Noah's column is 'Ear to the Ground'. Noah is in love with Rebecca. He went on a date with her twice, once in The Dating Issue and another in The Love-ly Issue (2), after being asked The Love-ly Issue (1). He also kissed her to try to get rid of her hiccups (We doubt that's the only reason).
- Amanda Pierce: The magazine owner's daughter. Amanda covers Fashion. She is played by Vanessa Morgan. The 'daddy's little rich girl', Amanda gets everything she wants. She lives a charmed life. But she is supersmart with grades to prove it. Even though she and Rebecca may fight, they have mutual respect for each other. Amanda's column is 'Fashion Forward'. She was asked out by Michael in The Love-ly Issue (1) and agreed to go out with him in The Love-ly Issue (2). In one episode Amanda's father tries to beat Wilder at at least one sport after being beaten by Wilder in basketball (Mr. Pierce hates losing anything). In the end of the episode, Amanda reveals to her father that she has a crush on Wilder.
- Wilder: Gaming obsessed and willing to try anything. Covers Gaming. He is played by Munro Chambers. Wilder's column is 'Game On'. As good-natured as they come, Wilder is completely clueless about everything except gaming. At school, Wilder is the man. At work, Wilder is the man.Wilder has an ability to fit in wherever he is and gets along with whoever he's with. It appears as though Wilder has a crush on Amanda.

[edit] Lyrics for the theme song
Sitting in class, watching the time pass,
Can't wait to get out, and hang out with my friends ,
Find out what's new, who's crushing on who, and is that rumor's true,
It's a whole new scene, in the pages of a magazine,
The latest buzz,
its not hard , it's what's in and what's out,
I'm gonna find out, what everyone's talking about.
The latest buzz,
I wanna know just because,
when school is out lets chill out there, coolest way to cut my hair the latest buzz
