The Land of Elyon is a trilogy of children's fantasy novels by Patrick Carman.
The trilogy consists of:
Book 1: The Dark Hills Divide
Book 2: Beyond the Valley of Thorns
Book 3: The Tenth City
A prequel, Into the Mist, was released on September 1, 2007. Patrick Carman has scheduled a prequel series about the childhood of Thomas and Roland Warvold, the architect and explorer who built the walls protecting the human cities from the dangers of the Dark Hills, and his brother who has sailed the Lonely Sea.
The fifth book will be called Stargazer.
