The Krion Conquest

The Krion Conquest is a side scrolling action-adventure video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, made by Vic Tokai in 1991, and originally released as "Magical Doropie" in Japan. It is notable for its use of a wand-wielding character ("Doropie" in Japan, "Francesca" in the U.S.) who can fire different objects based on the wand type the player has selected, as well as its extreme similarities to Capcom's Mega Man series. Among other things, the main character's outfit colour changes when a different wand is selected (using a similar style menu). There is also at least one enemy which resembles a Mettool (the hard-hat enemies; officially spelled "Mettaur" in the U.S.).
