One Juniperus chinensis with over 1500 year-old locates in the Southeast University. It was planted in his Palace by the Emperor Wu of Liang in Six Dynasties. Later, the Palace was destroyed by the war, however, the tree was survived luckly until today.
In Ming Dynasty, the Guozijian(highest national educational institution ) was built in the same place; In the beginning of 20th century, the Liang Jiang Normal Institut was built here. It is the location of Southeast University.
In Chinese long history, the war did not cesse, but the great plant can be a proof of Chinese long-living culture.
