The Junction (Ogden, Utah)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Junction is an entertainment, retail, and residential complex in Ogden City built on the site of the former Ogden City Mall. This is a joint effort project by Ogden City, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Wells Fargo, the Boyer Company, and more in an effort to revitalize the city center for economic and cultural growth.
The Salomon Center (which includes: Fat Cats, Gold’s Gym, Costa Vida, Striker’s Grill, Pizza Factory, and other retail) and the Megaplex 13 theaters are the main anchors for the project and are already open to the public. On the southeast corner of The Junction site is the Boyer Building where Wells Fargo resides; and at the opposite corner to the north of the site is the Ensign Plaza. The Children's Treehouse Museum was one of the first components to be completed and is also open to the public. Before long we will see condominium and commercial buildings as the Earnshaw Condos and Ashton Square building are completed.
