The Joystrings

The Joystrings were a 1960s UK Christian music group led by Joy Webb, an officer (now retired) in The Salvation Army.
They were the first Salvation Army pop group achieving chart success with "It's An Open Secret" and "On A Starry Night". The main members through the years were Joy Webb, Peter & Sylvia Dalziel, Bill Davidson and Wycliffe Noble. The group have a number of other singers who changed due to the group consisting of cadets originating from The Salvation Army's training college in London.
