The Jettys is a post-punk band. It started in 2004 when the progressive punk band called "Patria Boba" with Urbano on lead guitar and vocals changed their lead guitarist and included "Mary" as its lead singer. The original group featured Manuel David Díaz (guitar), Lucas Henao (drums) and "Mary" (vocals). They looked for a while for a bass player, finding Sebastian, alias "Static", but he was quickly replaced with Sergio Gutiérrez, a close friend of the band.
Their first record was released in 2005. It was named after the band: The Jettys EP. This record was made completely by the group, they even took care of the edition process. All lyrics were written by Lucas and all music arrangements made by Manuel. This EP featured "Tata" and Sebastián Montes on keyboards. The first singles were "Hunted Wolf" and "Moon Destruction".
