IMDb profile |
The J-K Conspiracy is a movie produced by Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw, directed by Chainsaw, and released in late 2004. It stars the entire show, plus a number of celebrities (such as Bob Costas, Doug Flutie, Don Rickles, and Laura Schlessinger) and several notable listeners (including Listener Lex, Commander Butch, and Quiet-Talking James). It is sold on DVD, and proceeds fund the Grand-a-Day Every Day Giveaway.
The J through K section of Chainsaw's World Book encyclopedia has been stolen (a real event that took place several years before the movie was made), and in the movie, Chainsaw accuses Dave of stealing it.
Rickards announced on the morning show that a second movie is currently in production and will be released around Thanksgiving Day 2006. On April 11, 2006 during a round of Ask us Anything, Rickards said that it is a separate story, not a sequel to The J-K Conspiracy.
