The Iron Warrior is the official student publication of the University of Waterloo Engineering Society, since 1980. Issues are produced about every two weeks.
The Iron Warrior is entirely produced by members of the Engineering Society. It promotes Waterloo engineering outside the university, as well as provides articles about leisure, entertainment and Engineering professionalism.
[edit] Staff Awards
Iron Warrior Staff Awards are given to staff members chosen by the Editor-in-Chief, with recommendations from the Editorial Board. The awards include:
- Editor's Award. Given to one or two staff members who have shown dedication, commitment and contribution to the Iron Warrior.
- Iron Pen Award. Given to one staff member who contributed the highest quantity of published content.
