List of The Invisibles episodes

Maurice Riley (Head) and Syd Woolsey (Clarke), are old friends who return from the good life on the Costa del Crime to a quiet Devon fishing village. They plan to eke out their retirement fishing and availing themselves of the NHS. However, the quiet life is not for them. As their ill-gotten gains run short, they find themselves drawn back into a life of crime with the son of their former partner Hedley Huthwaite (Lennox Kelly) - only crime has moved on and they've got new things to learn. Maurice's wife Barbara (Agutter) is aware of her husband's penchant for cracking open the odd safe or two but their daughter, Grace (Emily Head), has no idea how her dad made his money.[1]

[edit] Production

The series was filmed in the Northern Ireland village of Portaferry, County Down which was considered a good look alike for a Devon village without being so crowded.[citation needed] A second series is already planned.[citation needed]

It was originally commissioned under the title Desperados[2] but was changed to The Invisibles to match the name used by Head and Clarke's characters.
