The International School Maastricht

The International School of Maastricht is based in the town of Maastricht in south Limburg, Netherlands.

The school shares a building with a Dutch school known as porta mosana formally euro-college. The international school has about 200 pupils from 40 different countries. The ISM is a secondary school which has seven years. For the first five years you have to attend school once you reach 16 it is your chance to continue in education. The first five years are known as forms 1-5. The last two years are known as 1B1 and 1B2. For the first three years you study the education set by the school. In form 4 you start the IGCSE program which stands for International General certificate of Secondary Education. The last 2 years study the International Baccalaureate or IB for short.
