The Institute of Strategic Studies (ISS) is a think tank based in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is funded entirely by the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Government, its most famous member being the nationalist and pro-military commentator Shireen M. Mazari. ISS should not be confused with the British International Institute for Strategic Studies.
