The Incredible Hulk Returns is the 1988 TV movie about David Banner, played by Bill Bixby, who has nearly cured himself from being the Hulk, played by Lou Ferrigno. As was the case with The Trial of the Incredible Hulk this television movie acted as a backdoor pilot to an unproduced television series featuring the Thor comic book character.
[edit] Plot
The Hulk hasn't surfaced for two years. David has created a device called the Gamma Transponder, which will rid him of his Gamma radiation. It ends up being nearly stolen along with David's girlfriend Maggie Shaw (played by Lee Purcell) being kidnapped. Don Blake (played by Steve Levitt), a former colleague of David, has possession of a mystic hammer which can summon Thor (played by Eric Allan Kramer). To save the day, David must abandon being cured and rely on The Incredible Hulk and The Mighty Thor. In the meantime, Jack McGee (Jack Colvin) continues his search for the Hulk.
This was Jack Colvin's last appearance as Jack McGee.
