The Immortal Alamo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Immortal Alamo was an American silent film, released in 1911, and the earliest film version of the events surrounding the 1836 Battle of the Alamo.
The film was directed by William F. Haddock, and starred early silent film actor Francis Ford, in addition to Edith Storey, Mildred Brackenand, and William Clifford. Although her role was minor, it was the first film in which Fanny Midgley appeared. No known copies of the film exist today, [1] and it is considered to be a lost film.
