"The Illusionist" is the first song from Pitch Black Progress by the Swedish melodic death metal band, Scar Symmetry.
[edit] Video
A video was shot featuring the band members playing the song in a war-ravaged town, while the titular Illusionist undergoes a torturous ordeal amid the ruins. The video debuted in MTV2 on July 1 during American MTV2's Headbangers Ball, hosted by Vinnie Paul of Hellyeah (ex-Pantera, ex-Damageplan, and ex-Rebel Meets Rebel). The video was shot in Serbia[1] during March, 2006.
