The Illuminati Papers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Illuminati Papers is a collection of essays and other works by Robert Anton Wilson first published in 1980 (ISBN 1-57951-002-7). The book expands upon characters and themes from his earlier The Illuminatus! Trilogy (written with Robert Shea) and featuring characters from that series. Most of the Essays are written from the point of view of the characters in Illuminatus!, covering such topics as politics, science, the future, and other topics. Other than the essays there are parts of the book that mimic newspaper advertisements, wall-posters, etc.

The Illuminati Papers is sometimes referenced as a sequel to Illuminatus! as are other related works such as Masks of the Illuminati, the Cosmic Trigger, and (probably most appropriately)The Historical Illuminatus Chronicles series of books (Although the Shrodinger's Cat series is more similar in some ways. Basically anything Wilson wrote with the word Illuminatti in the title and several that did not touched on Illuminatus!.
