The House Harkonnen is a United States rock band from Arlington, Texas formed in 2003 and featuring peculiar melodies, riffs and dual guitar solos. Guitar player and lead vocalist Alex Johnson has written songs (under the name Lee Harvey) for Troma Entertainment's: The Toxic Avenger[1] and is credited as a guest vocalist on Fair to Midland's debut independent release for the song "pen-_-".[2] The group has released three albums (the latter of which was mastered by Course of Empire Drummer Chad Lovell), with a fourth full-length record announced for summer of 2007.[3] The band is also known for playing live shows that consist entirely of cover songs from the band Weezer.[4] The band's name is taken from the Frank Herbert novel, Dune.
