[edit] Background information

An update on Ill Bill's MySpace profile on May 2, 2007 revealed that the album was 90% mixed. It also revealed that a track featuring H.R. and Darryl Jenifer of American punk rock band Bad Brains was produced by Carlos Bess and Ill Bill. A track titled "War Is My Destiny" will feature Immortal Technique, and vocalist Max Cavalera of thrash metal band Soulfly performing a hook. Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones performs the hook of a track produced by Todd Ray (who remixed Non Phixion's "The C.I.A. Is Trying to Kill Me" for their 2002 album The Future Is Now). Once Cavalera and Jones' parts are done, all the vocals will be complete. Mastering was set to begin between May 15 and June 1, 2007. He also mentioned a track titled "Coka Moshiach" that features Raekwon, which is described as reminiscent of "Cuban Linx era Wu." Ill Bill also revealed that the closing track, produced by DJ Muggs, will feature himself, Everlast, Necro and Tech N9ne. He also confirmed Larry Carroll, the artist of Slayer's Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss and Christ Illusion (the latter artwork of which was banned in India), will be responsible for the album's cover art.

It has also recently been confirmed that B-Real, Jedi Mind Tricks, HERO will be on the album, and that DJ Premier, Cynic, MoSS and Sicknature have also produced songs of their own.

In previous interviews, Ill Bill's stated other possible guests and producers may include Dug Infinite, Q-Unique, Ad-Money of Lordz of Brooklyn, Skam2, Large Professor, Pharoahe Monch, Madball, Sick Jacken, O.C. and Psycho Les of The Beatnuts. Tracks with these guests and producers were put on La Coka Nostra's Ill Bill: Black Metal mixtape, though it is unknown if they will appear on the album as well.

The ID3 metadata for "White Nigger", a song from the album which has been enabled for public download on Ill Bill's MySpace profile, reveals that the song is track 5 out of 18, hinting that there will most likely be 18 songs on the album. "White Nigger" also samples DragonForce's "Through the Fire and Flames".
