The Hour of Power

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hour of Power is a weekly Christian television program now hosted by Robert A. Schuller with his father, Robert H. Schuller, and broadcast from the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, USA. It first aired in 1970 with a multi-host format until it was just the elder Schuller with the younger Schuller co-hosting later. It features a large congregation, live (mostly Christian) music, and guests who talk about how God has changed their lives for the better. It is the most widely-viewed church service in the world with an estimated 20 million worldwide viewers. In December of 2006 the Hour of Power along with America's Tenor Daniel Rodriguez, singer Angelique and Classical pianists, Jan Mulder and sons, toured in concert in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland.[1]
