The Holy Observer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Holy Observer is a religious satire web site in the style of The Onion. While occasionally touching on broader religious issues, The Holy Observer primarily satirizes the western brand of Evangelical Christianity from an insider's perspective.

Frequent targets of the monthly online publication include the North American Megachurch, the Emerging Church, Televangelism, Fundamentalist Christianity, Christian fads and the casual practice of Christianity, among others.

The Holy Observer has been featured on Rush Limbaugh's nationally syndicated radio show, as well as Christianity Today's web site. It has also received personal correspondence from Saddleback Community Church founding pastor and Purpose Driven Life author Rick Warren.
