The Holiday Plan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Holiday Plan were a rock band from Hackney and Islington, London that split up in May 2005. Consisting of a bassist/vocalist Matt Rider, as well as two guitarists (Gary Jenkins and Blue Quinn) and drummer (Daniel Bodie), the Holiday Plan played a style of music filled with dual-guitar parts, and could be classed as emo, or one of emo's many spin-offs, such as screamo.
The band were featured on MTV's documentary on upcoming bands, Breaking Point, where MTV followed The Holiday Plan, as well as other bands, such as Foolproof, around as they went around touring, among other rock band duties.
Matt Rider, vocalist and bassist of The Holiday Plan writes and records solo material under the alias Matt Trakker. The project is of a more acoustic genre.
All four members of the band have recently started a new band, 'Stay Puff'.
