The Highfield School is a science specialist school for secondary education, situated in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Highfield teaches students aged 11-18 (Years 7 through to Upper Sixth). The school is part of the Letchworth Sixth Form Consortium with Fearnhill School.

On the outskirts of Letchworth, the school's students include a wide mix from Letchworth, Hitchin and the surrounding villages..

Within the school, there is a 'house' structure - Anglia, Mercia, Northumbria and Wessex. Throughout the year there is an interhouse competition run and includes various small tournaments being run in timetabled P.E lessons, unique events such as the dance mat competition and climaxing at the end of the year with Sports Day.

Highfield runs a vertical tutor system, meaning that KS3 students are put into registration groups with a tutor who is expert at dealing with Years 7-9 and KS4 students in Years 10 and 11 are put with other specific tutors. The system encourages the mixing of year groups and is popular with new Year 7 students.

The school has a thriving industry link with Altro Flooring in Letchworth, a family run company that is leading in providing innovative flooring.
