The High Road is the second studio album by American pop/R&B singer JoJo, released on October 17, 2006 (see 2006 in music) in the United States. It debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 behind Diddy's Press Play and Evanescence's The Open Door, selling 108,000 copies in its first week of release. The album debuted at number twelve on the Canadian Albums Chart, and was certified gold by the CRIA in January 2007 for selling in excess of 500,000 copies. Album sales dropped off 70% in its second week. In the United Kingdom, the album reached a peak of number twenty-four on the chart; as of May 22, 2007, it went silver with sales of 65,799, and it was certified gold by the BPI on June 8, 2007 for shipping over 100,000 copies[1]. The album was certified gold by the RIAA in December 2006.[2] As of November 2007, it had sold 550,000+ copies in the U.S.[3]

The first single from the album was "Too Little Too Late", which peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Billboard Pop 100, becoming JoJo's most successful single to date. The video, which was shot in Los Angeles on May 19 and May 20, was released on July 18 on AOL. The second single "How to Touch a Girl" charted just outside the Billboard Hot 100, but reached number seventy-six on the Pop 100 chart. "Anything", the third single, did not chart in any major market except the UK, where peaked at number twenty-one. The High Road re-entered the UK Albums Chart at number seventy-four the week that "Anything" was made available for download, and the next week it climbed to number fifty-five.
