The Henry Cort Community College

The Henry Cort Community College, formerly Fareham Park Senior School, is a mixed sex comprehensive school in Fareham, Hampshire. The school has specialist Sports College status.

It is one of three comprehensive schools in Fareham, and had around 1000 pupils at the last count. It has a rich sporting tradition, especially in field hockey, and has enviable sports facilities, including an astroturf pitch and a fully equipped gym. The school is named after the iron pioneer, Henry Cort.

The students of the 2005-2006 year are the most successful year group at Henry Cort Community College to date in terms of their GCSE results.

Their Principal is currently Mr PJ Munday Bsc MA and he started in 2006 after the last Principal Mrs J Bulled.

They have a "Inclusion unit" to help with the Transition of the Year 7's from Primary Education to Secondary Education, they sort out minor ailments and provide a safe haven for people with conditions.

At the back of the college is a Multi-Sports Court and they are starting work on a NEW Pavilion next to the Court

On the site there is quite a few sports grounds like, Tennis and Basketball Courts and Grassed Pitches for Football and Rugby Football. There's a A.T.P (Astro Turf Pitch) ajacent to the New Pavvilon for Hockey, Football, Cricket

There is 2 Mezzenaine floors for a fittness suite and another overlooking the science labs with a few skylights
