The Hazards

The Hazards are a rugged mountain chain in the Freycinet National Park on Tasmania's East Coast. They are said to be named after local whaler, Captain Richard 'Black' Hazard.
The Hazards are made of granite, and pick up their pink-ish hue from iron oxides. Amos and Dove are two of the more well known mountains, with the track to the famous Wineglass Bay beach and llokout, lying besides Mount Amos.
