The Happy Time is a 1952 movie directed by the award-winning director Richard Fleischer. It is based on Samuel A. Taylor's hit play. The film stars Louis Jourdan.

The play was also adapted into a musical in 1968 by composer John Kander, lyricist Fred Ebb, and librettist N. Richard Nash. It played 286 performances on Broadway and starred Robert Goulet as Jacques.
