The HAB Theory

The HAB Theory is a work of fiction by the author Allan W. Eckert. The book can best be classified as belonging to a sub-genre known as Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction. First published in 1976, the novel explores an alternative version of how the world has been formed, based on a theory postulated by a real scientist named Hugh Auchincloss Brown (in the book the character representing Brown is Herbert A. Boardman).
