"Grease Megamix" was a remix/medley single released in early 1991 to celebrate the video release of Grease. The single was credited to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and released thru Polydor Records. The DJ that created this was Joe Masciantonio from Outstanding Bass Productions for Philadelphia radio station Q102. It aired during a show called the 12 Noon Workout.
The megamix featured the 3 biggest hits from the "Grease" Soundtrack - "You're The One That I Want", "Greased Lightnin'" and "Summer Nights".
The song was the 3rd most bought single in Australia in 1991 having hit #1 for 5 weeks in May 1991, and also reached #3 in the United Kingdom.
The megamix re-emerged for the 20th Anniversary celebrations of the "Grease" movie in 1998. The "Grease" E.P. featuring the megamix and a remix of "You're The One That I Want" charted well in the UK and Australia.
