The Golden Handkerchief is a mysterious cult originating from the Far East, mainly from Northern India but with offshoots in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Fiji. The Golden Handkerchief has a militaristic hierarchical structure, but abstains from direct confrontation whenever avoidable.

The Golden Handkerchief operates via infiltrating various government departments en masse and rendering them useless. The leader is thought to be a Fijian national with Australian residency; his codename has been identified as Parmod, a mysterious undistinguished individual of short stature.

Recently the group has been very active in Australia, through rather large political donations The Golden Handkerchief has swayed local and federal elections in favour of their own ideals.
