The Fuller Center for Housing (TFCH) promotes collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations in order to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide.

[edit] Founders

The founders of Fuller Center for Housing are Millard Fuller and his wife, Linda. After founding the charitable organization Habitat for Humanity and presiding over it for 29 years, Fuller expanded his objective to eliminating substandard housing worldwide. The Fuller Center for Housing was founded in the spiring of 2005.

[edit] Sustainability model

The Fuller Center for Housing provides interest-free loans to low income families to build or renovate their homes. The repayments of the families are used to help more families.

The Fuller Center for Housing garners financial, in-kind and volunteer support from individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches to fulfill its mission of eradicating housing poverty.

International

TFCH has covenant partners in Armenia, Australia,Cook Islands,Democratic Republic of the Congo,El Salvador,India, Jamaica, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Peru, Republic of Congo, Sri Lanka.

GLOBAL BUILDERS PROGRAM


Through the Global Builders Program, groups of international volunteers travel to countries where Fuller Center for Housing works (in 2008 Armenia and El Salvador), and build with the beneficiary families.


STUDENT BUILDERS

Student Builders work with the local “Fuller Center Covenant Partners” or other like-minded groups around the United States or around the world to build simple decent homes with families in need, to organize awareness campaigns and fundraisers.


FAITH BUILDERS

Faith Builders provides an avenue for churches, synagogues and other faith-based organizations to be a part of building houses in partnership with God’s people in need. By working together, churches and other faith based organizations are changing whole communities and changing the mindset that housing is NOT too big a problem to solve.
