[edit] Plot summary

The Diamond Brothers win a dream holiday in Paris. On the train, they meet Erica Nice, a baker, and a businessman, Jed. The Diamond Brothers accidentally tell the duo that they are staying at Hotel Le Chat Gris. The waiter drops some coffee at hearing this. As The Diamond Brothers get off the train, they are met by the clumsy waiter who served them. He tells them to beware of The Mad American and hands them a sugar sachet. The waiter is later found dead under a train. After being chased all round Paris by two assassins The Diamond Brothers are drugged. A policeman finds them and they track down the Mad American. The Mad American is Madam Erica Nice. Take rice off her name and you get Mad American. In the end Erica is arrested because she was smuggling drugs on the train. The sugar satchet is actually a drug packet.
