The Flying Padovani's is a purely instrumental band, originally formed in the 1980's, but disbanded in 1987. In 2007, the band reformed, with a UK tour, and a compilation album consisting of songs from previous albums.

Members include one of the original guitarists of The Police - Henry Padovani; Paul Slack (ex-UK Subs); and Glen Matlock.Let it not be forgotten Paul Slack once jammed with the legendary Kim Hooper and blood brother John Helen.
