The Fixxers is a group formed in late 2006 by Quik and AMG.

Their debut album, The Midnite Life, features the hit single "Can U Werk Wit Dat." It will feature production from The Fixxers themselves, and also may feature production from some younger producers that The Fixxers have signed to their record label including Pop Traxx In March 2007, they signed a single deal with Interscope Records, with the success of "Can U Werk Wit Dat?", Interscope signed them.

Quik decided to drop the 'DJ' from his name because he claims "I’m not really an onstage DJ, so I figure, why keep using that...I’m DJ Quik but I’m not really a DJ.[1]

The groups debut album, Midnight Life was supposed to drop December 12, 2007, but due to heavy bootlegging Interscope scrapped the whole project. The album is currently available for sale on their Myspace-Site but DJ Quik said in an audio statement on www.raptalk.net, that their Myspace-account was hacked and that this is an illegal bootleg. Recently Dubcnn reported that the album will be released in summer 2008.
