The First Lady is the fourth studio album by American R&B singer Faith Evans, released by Capitol Records on April 5, 2005 in the United States and Canada and on May 13, 2005 (see 2005 in music) elsewhere. It was her highest debut to date, opening at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and eventually certified gold for more than 500,000 copies sold.

It was released with the Copy Control system in some regions
