The Fireman

The Fireman is the moniker given to electronic music experiments created by Paul McCartney and Youth. In 1993, they released their first album, Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest and followed that with Rushes in 1998. In 2000, Youth also took part in McCartney's similarly-styled Liverpool Sound Collage.
On Wednesday 4th June 2008, McCartney's official website announced that a third Fireman album from McCartney/Youth is to be released and that an initial track from it, entitled 'Lifelong Passion (Sail Away) is to be issued as a limited edition download from http://www.paulmccartney.com, on June 5th 2008.
