The Felix Culpa
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Felix Culpa is a four-piece band from the Illinois/Wisconsin border (Mark, Tristan, Joel, Dustin). They are best described as a Progressive Indie band with post-hardcore elements. Originally starting life as "twostepsback," the Felix Culpa has rapidly evolved into a band with a rabid fan base and near-national distribution and attention. The name "The Felix Culpa" literally translates into "The Fortunate Fault" (Felix culpa is a Latin phrase that literally translated means a "blessed fault" or "fortunate fall". As a religious term it refers to Adam and Eve's fall and the loss of the Garden of Eden, known theologically as the source of original sin.) Their debut LP, "Commitment," can be found at their website, at their distributor, Common Cloud Records' website, or at Hot Topic stores in the midwest at the moment.
