The Famine is a Christian metalcore band that formed in 2007 in Arlington, Texas, and is signed to Solid State Records. The band features three of the original members of the long defunct band Embodyment. The Famine's first album is called The Raven and the Reaping. It was recorded in November and December of 2007 with Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene) and was released on May 27, 2008.
