The Fairmont San Francisco is a luxury hotel in the Nob Hill district of San Francisco, California.

[edit] Description

The hotel was nearly completed before the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. Although the structure survived, the interior was heavily damaged by fire and opening was delayed until 1907. It is the original of the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and has been featured in many films, including Petulia and The Rock.

Among its attractions is the Tonga Room, a historic tiki bar.
