Ocean Beach gets more attention from film industry Locals who have been observing the filming of a television pilot “Mythological X” on the streets of Ocean Beach will now be able to watch the show for more than one episode. According to officials with the San Diego Film Commission, the CBS network has picked the show up for a series slated for the fall lineup. Renamed “The Ex List,” the show will continue to film in San Diego, putting Ocean Beach squarely in the spotlight. The series is expected to employ about 150 people.
