The Event Center Arena

The Event Center Arena is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena on the main campus of San José State University in downtown San Jose, California; it was built in 1989. It is home to the SJSU Spartans men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. The Event Center has a full gym including basketball and racquetball courts, a weight room, and a climbing wall. It also plays host to rock concerts and other events.
