The Epstein School is a parochial Jewish day school in Atlanta, Georgia, and part of the Solomon Schechter chain of schools, which is affiliated with the Conservative stream of Judaism. It has a Hebrew-English bilingual language program, and the grade range is from nursery school to eighth grade. It serves students from age 2 years through 8th grade at its main campus in Sandy Springs and children age 18 months through pre-kindergarten at its Atlanta campus at the Ahavath Achim Synagogue.
In 2005, Epstein was identified as a U.S. Department of Education Innovator and is one of only three Jewish day schools in the nation to be honored as a 2004 Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Epstein graduates are prepared to become lifelong, independent learners and to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Epstein students consistently excel in the very best high schools and colleges of their choice. With dual accreditation (SAIS-SACS) from the Southern Association of Independent Schools and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), The Epstein School is a leader in computer and technology education, and has outstanding math and science programs. In addition, they offer enrichment opportunities in drama, music and studio arts that foster creative expression and cultural appreciation, as well as an excellent sports program.
