The Elevator is the first segment of the sixteenth episode from the television series The New Twilight Zone.
[edit] Synopsis
Brothers Will and Roger search a factory's laboratory for their father when he doesn't come home. Their father has been performing secret experiments to solve world hunger.
Upon entering, they find the lab littered with dead animals (rats, cats, dogs) all much larger than normal. They decide that something even larger must have killed all the animals.
Will and Roger go to the elevator to search for their missing father on the upper floors. The episode ends when the elevator doors open to reveal a gigantic spider that snatches them and takes them upward into the dark.
