The Elephant in the Room is the eighth album by hip hop artist Fat Joe. It was released on March 11, 2008 by the Terror Squad/Imperial/Virgin Records. Guest artists and producers include Dre, Lil Wayne, Jackie Rubio, Pooh Bear, Swizz Beatz, J. Holiday, Plies, DJ Premier, KRS One and Opera Steve.
"The Crackhouse" was the first song made available to the public prior to the album's release—a "street banger", according to Fat Joe. It also can be heard on the game Grand Theft Auto 4[1]—but the first actual single was "I Won't Tell" featuring J. Holiday, which peaked at number twelve on Billboard magazine's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.[2]
On January 30, 2008, Fat Joe added a music video for "300 Brolic" to his MySpace page, and in May, Fat Joe revealed his second single off the album (the fourth overall) You Ain't Sayin' Nothin' as a video, with a sample of Cocababy at the end.
