The Band formed in January of 2005, when the band members as a band music project, just playing covers of classic rock anthems, but as they developed they went onto writing songs helped on by other musical influences.
As the band developed they found help from Producers and talent scouts which has helped The Element[2] cause quite a reputation in areas up and down the country. They have created their own unique sound and which their first E.P called "Stop everything your not" it helped the band get their sound across to people who hadn't heard them before.
In summer 2006 The Band started writing their own material with: "Outta Love", "Shorter drop", "Unidentified Beauty", "Rosie Lets Dance" and "Empty Walls".
There First big break came in 2006 when they were invited to appear on Brian Conley's Let Me Entertain You. The Element came in at a close third place, with just 3 seconds in it.
In 2007, the band had a lot to do, as they were constantly gigging across local music scenes, but traveling across to the Cavern Club, in Liverpool to play a blinding and memorable set in front of die hard beetle fans. The Element's first supportin tour called Flick The Jelly Bean Tour[3]. It was in the September of the same year, where The Element played a host of shows around the North of England. Their best show was at Selby Town Hall, where they played to their home fans and was an electric performance.
[edit] Reviews
"Second act The Element commanded the stage like they were born to be rock stars, displaying a solid sound and electric energy reminiscent of the current Manchester music scene. These are definitely ones to watch."[4]
"The Element is a rock/ Indie/ alternative band consisting of four 17 year old lads having the time of their lives. They are hairier than the Horrors and are crazier than the Kaiser Chiefs, they are young rockers ready to let fly...."
