[edit] History
Whilst busking on the streets, most Saturdays, they perform cover versions of the songs they grew up listening to.
The Dualers released their first material in 2004.
On Sunday 24 October their debut single “Kiss On The Lips” entered the UK charts at number 21.
In 2005 (with the help of Trust Management) they released "Truly Madly Deeply" through Gut Records, and again made the top 30 in the national charts, entering at number 23.
On 11 November Channel 5 broadcast a news report and an interview with Si and Tyber about their achievements. This was followed a few weeks later by an appearance on the BBC's Children in Need.
"Don't Go" was released on June 12th and was their biggest selling single to date, outselling both previous top 25 singles, but a proportion of these sales were not counted towards the Charts due to a technicality, meaning it charted at #61
The Dualers' debut album "The Melting Pot" was released on 3 July.
They have played gigs in large venues such the concert hall in Croydon's Fairfield Halls, Bromley's Churchill Theatre and the Brentwood Centre in Essex .
They regularly play with a six piece band featuring Lenny Bignell (guitar), Pete Cherry (bass guitar), Mark Thomson (drums), Alex Hamilton (trumpet), Mike Lesirge (tenor saxophone) and Patrick Johns (trombone).
Fool's Gold, starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, released in 2008, features The Dualers' version of Truly Madly Deeply.
The Dualers will be headlining this year's Potsdam Ska Festival in Germany at Lindenpark. They are performing on 11th July.
