[edit] History

A project that began over five years ago, The Drips are Matt Caughthran (The Bronx (band)), Joby J. Ford (The Bronx (band)), Tony Bevilaqua (The Distillers), David Hidalgo Jr. (Suicidal Tendencies), and Vincent Hidalgo (Los Villains). The band was considerably inactive due to the touring duties of the members' different bands but eventually recorded their full length Drips debut. Their first album, self-titled "The Drips," was released in April 2006 mid-way through a UK tour. The album received many favourable reviews, with critics hailing their sound as "muscular and melodic... a thrilling blur"[1].
