The Dinner Party (play)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Dinner Party is a one-act play written by Neil Simon. It tells the story of six unknowing guests who are invited to a private dining room in a first-rate restaurant in Paris. One thing is apparent: they are three divorced couples, and one of them has set up the party. The play was first performed in 2000 at the Music Box in New York City. Writing in the October 20, 2000 New York Times, reviewer Ben Brantley was disappointed in the play.
