The Day I Snapped is an alternative/punk rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in late 2000, the members include Alan Easton on lead vocals and guitar, guitarist Richie Bradford, drummer Craig Brennan and bassist Andy McFarlane. From 2003-2006, bass guitar duties were handled by former Regency Buck and Baby Chaos frontman Chris Gordon, now with Union of Knives. The Snapped has played numerous live gigs including the 2002 T in the Park festival and opening spots at sold-out shows in two of Scotland's most prestigious venues, Glasgow's SECC with The Offspring and at The Barrowlands with All American Rejects. They have also appeared with Story Of The Year, Nick Oliveri's Mondo Generator, Jackson United, Sense Field, Bowling For Soup, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Billy Talent, and The Lawrence Arms. Over its six-year history the Snapped have made various recordings, all produced and engineered by ex-bassist Gordon, which helped the band members develop their style and resulted in airplay on BBC Radio 1 including a live session on the Vic and Gill show in 2003. The band is signed to Lockjaw Records and its debut album, "Hooked On Disaster", was released on October 30th 2006.
